COVID-19 Reminders

With the first week nearly in the books I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their cooperation in making sure all the MN Dept. of Health requirements are being followed.  You are going to hear this quite often this year:

1.  Please keep your child home if they are ill.

2.  Monitor for symptoms at home before sending your child to school.

3.  Have a family plan if your child needs to be sent home from school.

I've attached a copy of the decision making tree we are using to make health related decisions.  If a child needs to be sent home, you can expect a copy of this to be sent home too with the "path" highlighted.

Additionally, please note that if any household member is awaiting the results of a COVID test, students should stay home until the results of the test are known.

Keep smiling, that's what I tell the staff here and my family at home.  This year is going to look a little different, but if we all work together we can ensure a great experience for all the young people we care about.

In Partnership,

Tim Schochenmaier

Superintendent
