The Guidance and Counseling Office at Central Schools provides developmental, as well as pro-active preventative and remedial services for students. This involves a cooperative effort among students, staff members, parents and the community. The purpose is to empower all learners to lead satisfying and productive lives by assisting them in identifying and achieving educational, career, personal and social goals.  We are here to help by working with academic issues, educational and career planning, as well as personal concerns.

    Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you find it helpful!

Rianna Babatz was nominated by CHS staff and voted as Senior Student of the Month for March 2019. Criteria used for the selection was academic progress, responsibility, school spirit, personal growth and character.

Rianna’s nominator(s) chose her for the following reasons:  “Rianna is a joy to be around.  She goes above and beyond in all that she does.  She is involved in many extra-curricular activities and is kind to everyone.  She gives 100% to everything that she does and will always lend a hand.  She is a great role model and she represents all that Central stands for”.

Her plans after high school include attending Hamline University and majoring in Veterinary Science, with the possibility of minoring in forensic science.

Rianna’s recommendation to underclassmen and peers is to “always give 100% in your work every day because in the long run your hard work WILL pay off and you will be given so many opportunities! At the same time, also live in the moment and enjoy high school while it lasts”.

Her favorite hobbies and interests include hiking, photography, traveling, watching Netflix, and most importantly taking naps.

Rianna’s states that her favorite class at Central High School is Pre-Calculus because she gets a healthy balance of stressful crying and self-enjoyment. And also Mr. Degler makes the class fun with his “debates” and stories.

Rianna is the daughter of Donald Babatz.
