Dear Central Public Schools Parents/Guardians:
I am writing to inform you of several school leadership transitions taking place immediately at our schools.
Beginning Thursday, March 31, Ron Erpenbach, currently the Central Elementary School Principal, will serve as Interim Principal at Central High School/Middle School. Becca Braun, currently the Assessment Coordinator, will serve as Interim Administrator at Central Elementary School.Mr. Erpenbach will continue as the principal of Central Elementary following his assignment at the MS/HS. In the coming days and weeks, we will determine how to organize these positions and find permanent staffing solutions.
These changes came about due to the resignation of Tom Erickson, our current High School/Middle School Principal. Tom has chosen to leave Central Public Schools for personal reasons. We thank him for his many years of service within the district and for his dedication to our students.
These changes were approved by the school board at its March 28 meeting.
These changes will be announced at school, but we would appreciate you discussing this leadership change with your student.
If you have any questions, please contact me at tschochenmaier@isd108.org.
Sincerely,
Tim Schochenmaier
Superintendent, Central Public Schools
