September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month! We are so grateful to our school board members for all of the work they do in supporting the strong governance of Central Public Schools. Let’s welcome another new member of the Central Public Schools Team who is also a familiar face. Reid Stacken will be joining the district as Recreation, Enrichment and Facilities Specialist and says his favorite subject in school was psychology.
“I joined the district because I want to grow and help serve the same community that I grew up in,” said Reid.
In his free time he likes to watch/play anything sports related and spend time with family and friends.

Let’s welcome back a member of the Central Public Schools family! Jessica Solberg graduated from Central and will be joining our team as a Special Education Teacher. She says her favorite subject in school was Phys Ed and that a love for watching kids grow and have fun learning led her to a career in education.
“I am excited for the opportunity to be an educator at the school I graduated from,” said Jessica. “The school has such a family feel to it and I am excited for my own kids to enjoy that too!”
In her free time, she likes to play games, read, swim, travel, and hang out with family and friends!

Central Secondary School is hosting an open house tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 28) from 4-6 p.m. for families!
