This month the PreK program did a Healthy Me Unit where students were able to learn about how their bodies work, healthy eating and a Workout Wednesday full of exercise. Students had a great time rotating through the hallways and classrooms doing circuits, Sweating to the Oldies, an obstacle course, riding trikes, and Cosmic Yoga!

Students visited the Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on a field trip last week!

*Fishing Club is for Students currently in grades 6-12.
Students interested in joining should attend with a parent for information on the upcoming season. **We will be looking to establish coaches and boat captains.

Preschool students recently learned about dental health, going to the doctor and how to care for a cold. They also learned about exercise with rotations through the preschool classrooms doing yoga, sweating to the oldies, obstacle courses, workout circuits and best of all riding trikes in the halls!

Students in Preschool spent February learning about "Healthy Me!" The themes for the month were My Body, Let's Eat, Taking Care, Safe & Sound. During My Body week the children enjoyed making mini me's, labeling the parts of our bodies, graphing their hair/eye colors and they even got to perform brain surgery!
