We're thrilled to announce a generous donation to our school's STEAM room from Haggenmiller Lumber in Arlington! Thanks to the amazing efforts of Chad Braun, a supportive parent, we've received cedar boards valued at around $2,500. Our second graders will embark on an adventure, using these boards to craft beautiful birdhouses while learning about animal habitats. Additionally, our fifth-grade connections students will put their skills to the test, creating wood duck nesting boxes after delving into the fascinating world of Minnesota birds. FREE DENTAL CARE FOR UNDERSERVED CHILDREN February 2, 2024 and February 3, 2024 (Some clinics hold events on alternative dates.) HOW ARE APPOINTMENTS MADE? Families can locate a participating clinic by visiting www.mndental.org/gkas or contacting the United Way by dialing 2-1-1 or texting the zip code to 898-211. They can then contact the clinic directly to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions, please email sleclair@mndental.org. Give Kids a Smile is a charitable outreach program that provides free dental care to underserved children (typically ages 3-18). Dental clinics throughout the state volunteer to provide these services during Children’s Dental Health Month.

Central HS December Mental Health Break was the afternoon of Friday 12/22. Besides Bingo, Talent Show, and Classroom activities students participated in a Winter theme decoration contest. The winners were all from Senior Raidertimes.
