The High School Student Council would like to offer each elementary grade an opportunity to have their picture taken in one of our Winter Theme hole-in-the-face cutouts . Elementary students can have photos taken in a snowmen, reindeer, or a gingerbread man cut out. A $1 donation would be greatly appreciated, with proceeds going to the Bountiful Basket food shelf in Cologne.. Kindergarten Adventures: Our little scholars have been on an exciting journey into the world of plants! They've mastered the essentials - the four things plants need to thrive and the basic facts about roots, stems, leaves, and seeds. Today's buzzworthy lesson was all about the incredible bees! They discovered the crucial role these pollinators play in collecting nectar and pollen. To wrap up the class, our kindergarteners turned into busy "bees" themselves, pollinating flowers and experiencing firsthand the magic of nature. #KindergartenLearning #PlantLife #BusyBees #HandsOnEducation

Kids in the Kitchen - Christmas Cookies with the 6th grade on December 4th. Students in the 6th grade could participate in making Christmas cookies for our Kids in the Kitchen Culinary Arts Educational Opportunity. We made 4 different types of Christmas cookies. Students learned how to crack an egg, measure ingredients, use a mixer and boil on top of the stove. For many of the students, this was the first time they had ever done this. The students were able to take home a platter of the cookies they made, received a certificate and were able to keep their paper chef hats. A fun time was had by all!

Our talented young minds showcased their brilliance in the final Knowledge Bowl Meet on Thursday Nov. 30, and we couldn't be prouder! Out of 24 teams, our team secured an impressive 2nd place! The competition was fierce, but our kids held their ground and achieved a fantastic score of 72 points. What's even more exhilarating? They triumphed with just a one-point lead over the third-place team. Talk about a nail-biting finish! A huge shoutout to our brilliant students for their hard work, dedication, and exceptional performance. Your knowledge, teamwork, and passion for learning truly set you apart.
