Hello Central High School Families- As school is drawing closer to the end and spring is hopefully coming upon us, the Booster club is looking to get a few volunteers to help the track and field teams run concessions during their meets. Please remember that it is spring in Minnesota so weather plays a huge role in how to dress and whether a meet will happen. We are trying to determine the best location to set up yet with construction and gravel/mud concerns so bear with us as we determine the best location for the week of the event. Thank you in advance to all the families that helped the boosters this year. Thank you, Angie Schneider Central Booster Club Member http://click.signupgenius.com/f/a/UaPRYQ_V55nkk11-safSTw~~/AAFPrwA~/RgRl-1XtP0REaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuc2lnbnVwZ2VuaXVzLmNvbS9nby8xMEMwQjQ1QTlBRTJCQUFGNTgtdHJhY2sxJTJGNjI4NjExMjJXA3NwY0IKZArt0BhkAcSRuVIZdGFuZ2xlenNhbG9ubnlhQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAAAAw~~

Students who read have the power to succeed! Help our students become stronger readers. As a Reading Corps Tutor, you’ll work 1:1 with students who need extra practice and skill building. The most important qualification is the desire to make a difference. After a single semester of tutoring, the average kindergarten student in Reading Corps performs twice as well as their peers! Please help spread the word and share this with someone you know! Apply online at: join.readingandmath.org. #TutorOurKids

Central Elementary second graders, with the help of their parents, participated in a fun STEM project. They created elaborate and creative traps to try and catch those sneaky leprechauns. The traps were made of simple household materials and many incorporated a simple machine such as a lever or pulley. The leprechauns outsmarted us again and not one was caught.
